With his well-anticipated EP BREEZECATCHER fresh off the press, Mali’s prodigy status grows stronger and stronger through every sonic journey. Over the past few years, he has easily been able to cement his spot in Australian hip-hop, continually pushing the boundaries and putting a mic to WA. With a cosign from Rap Life Radio’s Ebro, and a nod from music critic, Anthony Fantano, it only makes sense that Mali’s musical expedition from here is one to soar new heights.

For Sound Guides, Mali pays homage to the sounds that consumed his ears from young, with something Klashnekoff and Erykah Badu to Bob Marley, while also honouring the artists that continue to inspire him today, with cuts from Navy Blue & Earl Sweatshirt, and MGMT. He brings it all back home with a classic from Naarm’s REMI, and makes a salute to fellow Fremantle talent, Kissinger Kruz.
